Gnocchi Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Gnocchi. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.

The service

Gnocchi uploads photos you choose to a cloud service, creates playful image transformations, and delivers them to the app and widget. Transformations are automated and may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, or unsuitable. The latest successfully downloaded image may remain visible if a new image is unavailable.

Your content and conduct

You retain your rights in photos you submit. You grant the operator a limited license to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit submitted photos only as needed to operate Gnocchi. You represent that you own or have permission to use submitted photos and that your use complies with applicable law.

Do not use Gnocchi to create or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, infringing, sexual, violent, or harmful material; to violate another person’s privacy or publicity rights; or to harass or impersonate anyone. Consent from people shown in a photo may be required before upload or sharing.

Subscriptions

Access may require an auto-renewable Weekly or Yearly subscription offered through the App Store. There is no free trial or introductory offer. The App Store purchase sheet displays the price and billing period before you confirm.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple manages billing, cancellation, refunds, and renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Availability and changes

The app and cloud service are provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued. Access may be restricted for misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or violation of these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties and the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable consumer rights.
